    Still optional (for the last year) was the 440 Six Pack and the mighty 426 Hemi, rated at 385 bhp (down 5 bhp) and 425 bhp respectively.

    Buyers could order their new cars with special, extra-cost paint. These are the High Impact Paint (HIP) colors. In 1971, High Impact Paint was a $14.05 option.

Because the Coronet line was consolidated, the Super Bee was no longer available as part of the Coronet line. Instead, in its last year, the Super Bee became a separate Charger model.
