Restoration Details

The factory paint process started by dipping the car in primer.
Once the primer was dry the car would be advanced into the paint booth. The operators would paint the entire car. While painting the rocker panels some overspray would get onto the floor pan as illustrated in the photograph. There was never much paint found on the bottom side of the floor pans.
